Important Notes
Gifts sent via the PayPal link on this webpage go through PayPal’s Giving Fund. They do not go through PayPal’s standard digital payment method. This means there will be a 2 to 3 week delay until PayPal notifies Giving on Purpose of the donation, whereas a donation sent to a specific Project via the Donate Button on the Project’s webpage is sent instantly.
You can browse all of Giving on Purpose’s partner Projects here.
All gifts sent via Stripe are logged instantly.
Please ensure that your name and the email that your receipt should be sent to are correct.
Following is PayPal’s clarification concerning giving to Charities:
“Charities with a PayPal account can place donate buttons on their own websites to collect donations through digital payment methods. Those donations go directly into their PayPal accounts, and are subject to PayPal’s payment processing fees.
“Charities enrolled in PayPal Giving Fund [as Giving on Purpose is] can direct donors to their PayPal Giving Fund donation page or pages hosted by our partners. PayPal Giving Fund donations are then granted to charities in an aggregated monthly payout. PayPal Giving Fund does not charge any fees on these donations. In some cases, our partners may choose to charge fees on donations made through their platforms, which they will disclose to you on their websites.”
